This Privacy Policy describes how Fixingo ("the App," "we," "us," or "our") handles information when you use our mobile application. Fixingo is designed for field service workers to document completed jobs through photos, signatures, and location data.

1. Information We Collect

Fixingo is built to work primarily on your device, without sending your job data to our servers. Here's what the App accesses and why:

Camera and Photos

The App uses your device's camera to capture "before" and "after" photos of completed jobs. These photos are stored locally on your device and are only shared when you choose to share a generated proof-of-completion image via WhatsApp, Viber, SMS, or another app of your choosing.

Location (GPS)

The App accesses your device's location to timestamp and geotag completed jobs, so your proof-of-completion documents show where and when the work was done. Location data is stored locally alongside your job records and is not transmitted to us or any third party.

Signatures

The App allows customers to provide a digital signature confirming job completion. Signatures are stored locally as part of your job records, same as photos.

Business Profile Information

Information you enter yourself, such as your business name and logo, is stored locally on your device and used to brand the proof-of-completion documents you generate.

Job and Customer Records

Customer names, addresses, service types, amounts charged, and notes that you enter into the App are stored locally in the App's database on your device.

Purchase Information

If you subscribe to or purchase Fixingo Pro (monthly, yearly, or lifetime), the transaction is handled entirely by Google Play Billing. We do not receive or store your payment card details — Google processes payments according to its own privacy policy, available at https://policies.google.com/privacy.

2. How We Use Information

All job-related data described above (photos, signatures, location, customer records) is used solely to:

  • Generate proof-of-completion documents for your jobs
  • Let you organize, search, and filter your job history
  • Let you export your data as a CSV file at your own request
  • Let you back up and restore your data, to a location you choose (such as Google Drive or your device's storage)

We do not use this data for advertising, and we do not sell, rent, or share your job data with third parties.

3. Data Storage and Your Control

Fixingo stores your job data locally on your device using an on-device database. We do not operate a server that stores your photos, signatures, customer information, or location data.

You are in control of your own data:

  • Backup: You can export a backup of your data to a file location of your choosing (such as Google Drive, device storage, or an SD card).
  • Export: You can export your completed jobs as a CSV file at any time.
  • Deletion: Uninstalling the App removes all locally stored job data from your device, unless you have created a backup elsewhere. You can also delete individual jobs, photos, or your business logo from within the App.

Because we don't hold a copy of your data on our own servers, we're not able to retrieve or delete data on your behalf after you've uninstalled the App — deletion is in your hands.

4. Permissions the App Requests

You can review or revoke these permissions at any time through your device's Settings > Apps > Fixingo > Permissions. Revoking a permission may limit related features (for example, revoking Location will stop the App from geotagging new jobs).

5. Third-Party Services

Fixingo uses the following third-party service:

Fixingo does not integrate third-party advertising networks, analytics/tracking SDKs, or crash-reporting services that transmit your personal data off your device. If this changes in a future update, we will update this policy accordingly.

6. Sharing Your Data

The App lets you voluntarily share a generated proof-of-completion image via third-party apps of your choosing, such as WhatsApp, Viber, or SMS. Once shared, that image is subject to the privacy practices of the app or service you shared it through — we have no access to or control over it after that point.

7. Children's Privacy

Fixingo is intended for use by field service professionals (such as technicians and tradespeople) and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your country).

8. International Users

Fixingo is used by field service workers across the Philippines and other countries. Because your data is stored locally on your device rather than on our servers, your data generally stays wherever your device is, except when you choose to back it up to a cloud service like Google Drive — in which case that service's own privacy policy and data location practices apply.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time, for example, if we add new features that change what data the App accesses. We will update the "Last updated" date at the top of this page when changes are made. Continued use of the App after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
